Mike Rota started playing the drums at the age of 12. His equipment of choice is Yamaha recording custom drums, Ludwig Vistalite Drums and Paiste Cymbals.

He has been in various bands since the 1970's. Some of his musical influences are Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Budy Rich, Louie Bellson and Terry Bozzio.

Mike has been influenced by some of the greatest drummers in the world and their tremendous inspiration has made him the drummer he is today. He has always stressed versatility and can adapt to any musical situation.
